With the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival having recently ended, we thought it would be a good time to tell you guys about a fashion show Left Lane Vintage had the privilege of being part of this August!

Called Fashion for Compassion, the annual fashion show was organised by and held at Mercedes College who donate all proceeds to their charity of choice. This year, the proceeds were donated to provide meals for the homeless.
Needless to say, when Mercedes College approached us asking if we would like to be part of such an amazing event, we said yes!
What made the fashion show even more amazing to us is that the whole event was organised by the students, for the students. Students from Year 7-12 turned into models for the event while the entire event was organised and executed by Year 12 students who were part of the Young Mercie's group.
And what an event they managed to pull off! The theme of the night was Fright Night and as you can see from the pictures, they did an excellent job of setting the mood with the stunning props, lighting, hair and make-up.
Alongside Left Lane Vintage, clothes from The Annex as well as clothes designed by the Year 11 and 12 sewing students were showcased.
We managed to put together our Spring/Summer Collection in time for the fashion show and we think the students who modelled our looks did a truly amazing job. Some of them definitely have a career as professional models ahead of them. They walked down the runway with confidence and really did the clothes justice.
We were truly honoured to be part of such a special event, it was a great night and we're looking forward to being part of more events in the future!
Some of the looks are already available on www.leftlanevintage.com so if you see anything you like, head to the site and have a browse!
What were your favourite looks from the show? Leave us a comment and let us know!
